Maxis For Galentine’s Day…

We have heard of Valentine’s Day. But do you know about Galentine’s Day? Well, Galentine’s falls on February 13 and is to honour female friendship. Both Singles and those in a relationship enjoy Galentines and celebrate us being ladies! This year I thought why not plan outfits for Galentine’s as a lady never fails to leave the house without looking fabulous right? What better way to be stunning other than in Maxi Dresses:)

I feel Maxis have this elegant and grace spell which we definitely deserve on this day! When I tried this Blue Maxi Dress from The Editor’s Market https://www.theeditorsmarket.com/category/woman/dresses, I knew I had to have my hands on it as the fit is perfect.

It flaunts my figure and I like how this dress conceals my chubby areas appropriately. The slit at the side gives a flirtish look and I love how the denim colour makes it versatile for both casual and formal outings!

Since Galentine’s is all about loving ourselves, Heart shaped accessories should not be missed. I adore the Heart Shaped Earrings from Aldo https://www.aldoshoes.com.sg/women/Accessories/Earrings as though it’s chunky, the vibrant colours really compliments the denim well. I feel this pair of jewellery is enough to complete this outfit!

Of course, I wanted to have the rough chic vibe, so I went for Boots from Melissa Shoes instead of normal sandals or heels. Usually when we think of Boots, we will match it mostly with pants or jeans. But, I find this Boots has the ability to be worn with dresses and skirts which still looks classy and trendy! So, if you want to try something bizarre this Galentines, I think this style of Boots would be your choice:)

For those of you into prints, this Black and Red Hearts Dress from SONICE will tempt you! I love how cute the hearts are and you would think the hearts are an overkill. Yet, I feel it adds flavor and spice into the dress right?

The latest trend of Buttons down has a sweet, innocent touch to the dress, giving a vintage look to it. I feel like I’m being transported back to the 80s wearing this dress!

I wanted to keep it simple for this dress, focusing on the prints, with a Clutch from Kate Spade. I am actually going a little bold in choosing the dual pink and orange tone. Surprisingly, it works out, making it a rather fashionable outfit:)

I love this day for it gives importance to us women and sometimes we really need to reward ourselves! Happy Galentines’ to those Singles out there and rock your way not only today but everyday:)

Cheers!
